Mr. Lucius Smith, Jr. was born August 7, 1950 in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Lucius Smith, Sr. and the late Mrs. Jacqueline G. Smith. He was educated in the Bibb County School System. After graduating, Lucius moved to New York for work, where he met and married Maggie. Dixon-Ross, affectionately known as "wee-Wee". was born August 5, 1929 to the parentage of the late Genie and Maggie Thurman in Macon, Georgia.  Linnie received her early education in Lizella, Georgia at Pleasant Grove Elementary School. Later they moved to Bibb County where she furthered her education at Unionville Elementary School, and later graduated from Hudson High School.
