Ms. Willie Mae Howard Wonnum was born in Roberta, Georgia on December 9, 1933 to the parentage of the late Felton Howard, Sr. and Bessie Mae Howard.
She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation in Fort Valley, Georgia.
She was married to the late Willie Joe Harris and they had two children. Later she married Lonnie Calvin Wonnum.
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Willie Mae entered eternal rest.
Willie Mae leaves a loving devoted family, a son, Edsel Harris of Roberta, Georgia and a daughter, Angela Perry of Lithonia, Georgia; grandchildren, Angela Williams (John) of Killeen, Texas, Nick Perry of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Jarvis Perry of Lithonia, Georgia, Antonio Grant of Butler, Georgia, Edsel Harris, Jr. of Woodstock, Georgia and Aden Harris of Roberta, Ga. Elexis Harris preceded her in death; great grandchildren, Kermaine Lockett, Keyah Williams and Koshon Williams all of Killeen, Texas. Kaya Harris of Conyers, Georgia, and Zion Williams-Perry of Stone Mountain, Georgia. She leaves three sisters, Ezelle Felts of Roberta, Georgia and Thelma Woods of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Louise Bakon (Philip) and one brother, Calvin Howard (May).
She was preceded in death by siblings, Mattie Miller, Daisy Knight, Almena Colbert, C.H. Howard, Andrew Howard, Felton Howard, Jr., Marie Davis, Ardell Howard, Elaine Hollis, and Bessie Jean Battle.
