Wilbur Gene Thomas, Jr.

Wilbur Gene Thomas, 61, joyfully entered this world on January 29, 1962, in Twiggs County, Georgia to the parents of Wilbur and Betty Jean Thomas.  

Known by many as BR, Wilbur attended Southwest High School here in Macon, Georgia and upon graduation, he enlisted in the Marines Reserve alongside his devoted cousin, James Harvell.  He later worked as a devoted cook with his last job being a cook at The Rookery and Dovetails in Macon, Georgia.

Wilbur sadly departed this life on November 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Thomas and mother, Betty Jean Thomas.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory siblings, Cora Ann Taylor (Jeff Taylor), Willie Thomas-Gator, Carla Johnson, and Ronnie Thomas, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
