Vanderbilt Ezell Miller, Sr., affectionately known as “Gip” was born on November 21, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents, Justus Miller and Betty Miller and three sisters, Dimple (Jimmy) Gurr, Bontissue (Ricky) Fluellen and Bonita Miller.
Vanderbilt grew up in Macon, Georgia (Fort Hill) and attended Northeast High School. He was a professional Brick Mason and attended Powerful Truth Sanctuary Global International Church.
On December 21st, 1980 he was united in holy matrimony to Beverly Miller and within this union two children were born. Vanderbilt prided himself on having unconditional love for his family and everyone knew it.
He leaves behind a loving and devoted wife, Beverly Miller; one sister, Canzatie Ross (Reginald) of Madison, Georgia; one aunt, Laconia James of Haddock, Georgia; two sons, Vanderbilt Miller, Jr. (Tabitha) and Earth Billingslea; four daughters, Ariana Miller, Tela Ivey Slaughter (Tyrome), Teyona Whitby, and Keyona Whitby Barca (Tony); four grandsons, Vanderbilt Miller III (Britt), Jaiden Miller, Kingston Dugar and Kai Dugar; six granddaughters, Keyanna Brown, KI’Meria Miller, Shun’Tavia Jackson, Lavandria Haywood, Zykria Ivey, Deyammiah Goodwin, and Tyrhianna Slaughter and one devoted brother-in-law, Frank Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
