Mr. Tony Dean Sr, was born on March 9, 1957, and departed this lik on January 1, 2025. Tony was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather who touched the lives of many with his kindnew and unwavering dedication to his family. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Mr. Arthur and Mrs. Ruby Dean, as well as his brothen. Robert Dean Jr. and Arthur Dean.
Tony was a proud graduate of Southwest High School in Macon, Georgia. where he began cultivating the work ethic and determination that woukd define his life. Over the years, he built a successful career as a Facility Technician and Custodian while also pursuing his passion as a CDI. truck driver. His dedication to his work was matched only by his deep love for his family. After retiring in 2014. Tony embraced his most cherished role-being a doting grandfather to his four beloved grandchildren.
A devoted sports enthusiast, Tony was an ardent fan of the Atlanta Braves. the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Falcons. Whether it was checring on his reams during a thrilling game or sharing his love of sports with his family, Tony's enthusiasm brought people together and created cherished memories.
Tony's greatest joy was his family. He took immense pride in the accomplishments of his three children: Shantia (Corey) Mungin of Kathleen, Georgia; TaNia Dean of Macon, Georgia: and Tony (Deautrac) Dean Jr. of Lizella, Georgia. As a grandfather, he found endless delight in the laughter and love of his grandchildren: DaiVion Stewart, JamarKus Dean, KiniDee Dean, and Aniyah Mungin. Tony's warmth, humor, and steadfast support were constants in the lives of his children and grandchildren, who will forever treasure his legacy of love and devotion.
In addition to his immediate family, Tony leaves behind his loving sister. JoAnn (Willic) Butts, and brother, Timothy Dean Sr. both of Macon. Georgia. He also leaves a host of devoted cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him fondly for his kindness, gencrosity, and infectious laughter. Tony's life was a testament to the power of love. hard work, and family, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
