Mr. Timothy (Tim) Dean, Sr. was born on August 8, 1959, to the parentage of the late Mr. Arthur and Ruby Dean. He departed this life on June 8, 2025. Timothy was a devoted son, father, brother, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Robert Dean Jr., Arthur Lee (Bobby) Dean, and Tony Dean, Sr.
Timothy was a proud graduate of Southwest High School in Macon, GA. He worked for Cagles Poultry where he retired after 25 years of service. He also worked as a truck driver for Quality Homes. His passion and hobby was that of being a mechanic. Timothy was a devoted sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the L.A. Lakers. Whether it was cheering on his team with his family and friends, he always created an atmosphere of laughter that has left cherished memories.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his five children, sons, Timothy J. (Shakira) Dean, Jr. of Macon, Georgia, Jermaine (Ciarra) Hargrove, Sr. of Macon, Georgia, Shawn Sherman of Macon, Georgia, Staff Sergeant Rashad (Brittany) Colbert of Killeen, Texas and one daughter, Dishawnda Sherman of Macon, Georgia. He is survived also by 15 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to his immediate family, Timothy leaves behind a loving and devoted sister, Mrs. JoAnn Butts (Willie) of Macon, Georgia. He also leaves a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins. A very devoted companion, Paulett Spencer, who will remember him fondly for his kindness, generosity, and infectious laughter. A devoted cousin, Linda Johnson and two special buddies, Duck and Little Tee.
Timothy’s memory will always be cherished by all who knew him.
