Thomas Ivory

Mr. Thomas Ivory was welcomed home on Friday, September 16, 2022. Born on September 2, 1957, to the late Jimmie Hickey and Laverne Ivory Roquemore. 
Thomas graduated from Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. In the early 80’s he completed an apprenticeship in Welding at Dudley M. Hughes Vocational School. After completion of his apprenticeship, he joined Local Ironworkers Union 387 and enjoyed a flourishing career in Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Work.  
 Thomas was preceded in death by his father Jimmie Hickey; two children; Marquez D. Lewis and Tamika S. Ivory; and twin siblings Clarence and Claretha Watts.  

Left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife of fourteen years Valerie Jackson-Ivory, Mother Laverne Ivory Roquemore; daughter Shequila S. Ivory; sister Jacqueline Roquemore; brothers Leroy Ivory, Capt. Gregory Roquemore, Ronnie Watts, Steve (Martha) Watts, and Keith (Regina) Roquemore; grandson Deondre N. McDuffie; father-in-law Willie Stokey Jackson, sister-in-law Olivettae (Larry) Hixon;   brother-in-law Olivon ( Jill ) Holston and a host of family, friends, and colleagues who loved him dearly. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
