Teairka L. Brown

With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Teairka L. Brown, who departed this life on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Teairka was born on July 6, 1990, in Macon, Georgia, to her loving mother, Katrina Mattox, and father, Terry Brown, and was also blessed with a stepfather, Santonio Mattox.

She was known for her beautiful spirit, bright smile, and loving heart, with a personality that could light up any room and bring laughter and joy to everyone around her. Teairka had a passion for beauty and loved doing hair and taking pride in beautifying herself; she also loved to dance, enjoy life, and spend time with her family creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Above all, she deeply loved her family and always showed that love in her own special way. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Jaquavious Dashawn Brown, Tykiya Michelle Brown, Ja Kiya Latrell Brown, Ty'Mone Brown, K’Mone Brown, and Chloe Grace Brown; her mother, Katrina Mattox; father, Terry Brown; stepfather, Santonio Mattox; siblings, Sankia Mattox, Santez Mattox, and Terry Brown Jr.; step siblings, Asia Mosely, Sacajewea King, Kelvin Mosely, and Santonio Mattox Jr.; devoted aunt, Lakesia Harrington and an aunt,  LaQuona Harrington; along with a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives, extended family members, and dear friends who will continue to honor her life and legacy.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
