Mrs. Shirley Lean Taylor was born January 17, 1959, to the parents of George and Pearline Poole in Macon, Georgia. She was educated in Bibb County Public Schools system.
Shirley dedicated her life to Jesus Christ and never wavered in her faith. She believed the Word of God and she had a zeal for her walk with Christ. She was a faithful member of Vineville Baptist Church for many years and recently joined Jericho Road Apostolic Ministry. She was a woman of wisdom who spoke the truth in love. The family always knew they could depend on her to tell the truth without apologizing. She gave sound advice! She loved her family, and she loved to cook. Everyone knew if she was cooking dinner, it would be enough to feed an army and it would be delicious.
Shirley was committed to the love of her life, Gary Taylor, St for 43 years. In honor of her Lord and Savior, it was her dream to make their union official. By the grace of God, Shirley and Gary, Sr were joined in holy matrimony on January 18, 2026.
She was a dedicated wife, mother of six, grandmother of 19, sister and friend to many. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Gary Taylor, St., her children: Kisa Poole, Cedrick Poole, Gary Taylor, Jr, and Joyneisha Taylor; her siblings: Jerome Pool and Charlotte Pool of Macon, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-laws:
Linda (Ronnie) Thomas, Alicia (Vernis) Bond, Alan (Harriet) Taylor, Sr., Glenn Taylor, Emolyn Taylor all of Macon, Georgia and Lillic Taylor of Adel, Georgia; grandchildren, India Tinsley; four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and family and friends, She was preceded in death by a son, Racfield Williams, and four brothers, George Poole, Jr, Horace Poole, Elton Ringwood, and Delton Ringwood
