Samuel Henry Franklin

Samuel was born on June 22 in the year of our Lord 1940 in Monroe County, Georgia.

He was educated in Bibb County School System.  

He attended worship services at Glorious Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Greater Vineville Baptist Church.

Mr. Samuel was presented with appreciation of twenty seven( 27) years of dedication, service, and protection at Eugenia Hamilton on May 31,1986.  He was also presented with certificates of recognition for Volunteer Service on June 9, 1993.  He was presented with the Pastor's Award for his faithful and dutiful services to his church and pastor on December 5, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Dorothy Franklin; and brother, E.C. Franklin.

Samuel entered his eternal rest on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

His precious memories willbe forever cherished by his daughter, Ann (Garcia) Calhoun; two grandchildren, Garcia Calhoun, Jr. and Latresa (Shawn) Dennis; seven great grandchildren, DeAndre Calhoun, Nathaniel Calhoun, Alyssa Calhoun, Jamorion Glenn, Lamiya Glenn, Josiah Calhoun, and Jamari Jakiah Calhoun; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other family members; church members; and friends.
