Roger Emmitt Pitts was born on October 4, 1979 to the parentage of Mary Mason and the late James Farrah Pitts in Macon, GA.
"Boolah" as he was so affectionately known by all was reared in Bibb county and attended Burdell Elementary School, Appling Middle School and Northeast High School. Professionally he was employed by Grady Williams Auto Shop and worked diligently with his hands on cars.
On Thursday, October 2, 2025 the earthly house of our dear
"Boolah" was dissolved and he ascended to his eternal home. There to greet him was his father, James Farrah Pitts; oldest brother, Kelvin Smothers; grandparents, Mildred (Major) Mapp, Lula Mae Pitts and James Pitts; god-father, James Thurman; aunts and uncles, Judy Baker, Bethshelia and Larry Roberson, Brenda and Bill Hitchcock, Harold Howard, Walter Mitchell and Lump Phillips; Brother in law, Sean Cummings and loving cousin, Shenita Gibson.
Forever to cherish his memory, laughter and love are his two daughters; Loving and devoted mother, Mary (Iver) Mason; caring siblings, Tameka (Harold) Clark, James (Jalandra) Pitts, Shavon Curry, Tacory Curry, Jeralyn Rouse, Valentria Rouse and Renardo Rouse; god-mother, Sarah Thurman; god-sister, Teresa Cummings; aunts, Freddie Jean (Eddie) Gibson, Sharon Howard, Vanessa Mitch-ell, Feleta Phillips, Majorie (Larry) McClain, Karen (Tim) Parker, Kathy (Scott) Parker, Angela (Ronnie) Strong and Mary McGirt; special cousins; Rock Baker, Valencia Taylor and Mario "Bud" Pitts; 8 nieces and 3 nephews along with a host of other family and friends he loved and adored including his sister's dog, "Ma Gal"
