Rhoda Mae Webb was born on September 5, 1938, in Roberta, Georgia to the late Clara Mae and Thomas Fagan. She was raised in Gordon, Georgia, where she attended Wilkinson County High School and developed the strong values of faith, compassion, and dedication that would guide her throughout her life. Rhoda was known for her warm spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering kindness toward everyone she encountered. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, church family, and community, and her presence brought comfort and joy to many lives.
Rhoda was a faithful and devoted member of New Pilgrim Baptist Church, where she proudly served on the Motherboard and remained steadfast in her love for the Lord. Her faith was evident in the way she carried herself daily — with grace, humility, and compassion. She cherished fellowship with her church family and peers, always offering encouraging words, prayers, and support to those in need. Rhoda’s dedication to her church and her unwavering commitment to uplifting others left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.
Above all, Rhoda was deeply devoted to her family. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones and was a constant source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love. Whether through her caring nature, heartfelt advice, or quiet sacrifices, she made sure her family always felt supported and cherished.
She leaves behind a loving family, Robert (Ruby) Fagan of Atwater, California, Cynthia D. Redmond, Ada C. Webb (Cedric) Cobb of Columbus, Georgia, John K. Webb and Jacquelyn Webb-Simmons (late Stanely Lee Simmons, Sr.) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Rhoda Mae Webb leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered with love and honor.
