Being the charmer that I am, I came bursting into this world on September 13, 1989 to begin my earthly journey in Warner Robins, Georgia. On that blessed and wonderful day, I, Regis Darnell Jackson, was born! I was graciously welcomed by my loving parents, Desiree Cookie Jackson and Henry Lamar Jackson. It was definitely an exciting day for them, as their third and final son had made our family complete. Not long after my arrival my loving big brothers, Kellen and Darius Jackson eagerly greeted me and welcomed me into the fold.
Under the guidance of my parents, I accepted Christ at an early age and begin my education in the Nebraska and Georgia school systems. Being all boy and full of energy, a love for sports was quickly developed with a very competitive nature. My skills in football were all star, definitely top notch. But basketball was my most favorite sport. Spending time with family and enjoying hearty meals were just two of my greatest joys. Being "perfect"...not me so much, but I always had a good heart with kind intentions for my family and friends. Add that to my handsome face, beautiful smile and charming personality one would say it was nice to have me around.
My life was short but full of love. It is that everlasting love and support that I am taking with me to my final resting place. Always remember our good times, the laughter, hugs, smiles, memories and love. This my love ones is not goodbye, it's until we meet again....
I am leaving to cherish my vibrant memory loving, devoted parents, Desiree Cookie Jackson and Henry Lamar Jackson; two brothers, Kellen Jackson and Darius Jackson; grandmothers Annette Askew and Carol Dunlap; niece, Marcelina Solis-Jackson; aunt, Sharon (James) Betts; uncles, Joseph Brown and Karim Rashada; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
I was preceded in death by my grandfathers Prince Carten and Henry Lamar Jackson Sr., and my uncle, Curtis Walker.
The family would like to express special thanks to Smith Street Baptist Church.
