Born to the parentage of Annie L Ellis and Larry Tillman, Reginald Dixon entered this world on September 17, 1971. Reginald, fondly known as Reggie, was born with sickle cell anemia, but he was a force to be reckoned with! He was a fighter that beat all the odds. It was said that he wouldn't live past 18, but he proved the doctor's wrong. It was also said that he couldn't have children, but as you can clearly see, he was blessed tremendously. Reggie was educated in the Bibb county school system and later attended Macon College and Central Georgia Technical College where he obtained his CNA license. He dabbled in many fields such as the restaurant industry, medical, real estate, then he found his passion - Ministering! Reggie went back to college and earned all four degrees in Theology. For those that know Reggie, they know he was a talker...now pair that with preach-ing...lol. He would talk you to sleep. I can honestly say that he loved God with all his heart, and I am confident that he is resting with our father.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Gabriella DeMayah Alyssa Dixon, his brother, Gerald Dixon, grandmother, Julia Francis Dixon, and Aunt Lillie.
Reginald leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted Mother, Annie L. Ellis, a loving wife Mickayala Dixon, nine children, Destiny Clark, Reginac Dixon, Reyanna Dixon, Reginald Dixon II, Julia Dixon, Kaitlynn Dixon, Naomi Dixon, and Alora Dixon. Three grandchil-dren, Lailah Harris, Gianni Harris and Jhakari Joseph; sister Chig-uita Thomas and brothers, Michael Harper, Tony (Shunika) Ellis and Derek Taylor; Aunt Betty Brown. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We are going to miss you dearly, but you were ready to leave this world behind. You held on to Gods hand and you didn't let him go. You fought the good fight, you stayed the course and now it's time for you to enjoy your reward. Good night and well see you in the morn-ing.
