Peggy Ann Jackson was born on July 19, 1951, to the parentage of Ms. Mattie Jackson.
She received her education from Twiggs County High School. She joined the Greater New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. She served on the Usher Board, Senior Mission and was President of the Pastor’s Aide Ministry. She worked various jobs including Ryan Restaurant and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
On Thursday, May 22, 2025, God called Peggy home. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Willie Jackson.
Peggy leaves behind cherished memories with her two sons, Walter (Tracy) Jackson and Antonius (Felisher) Jackson both of Macon, Georgia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: Chelsie, Crystal, Shakeena, Antonia, Shanel, and Antonius Jr. Jackson; Chi-Kia and Quentecia Jones, Quinteisha (Kenneth) Howard, and Darius Granville. In addition, she leaves behind sixteen great-grandchildren, as well as honorary nieces Levonia Gunter, Janet Bell, Celestine Pope, and Elaine Lewis, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
