Paulette Boyd

Paulette Boyd, who loved to be called “Momma” by her children, departed her loving family on March 11, 2023. Paulette Boyd was born in Macon, Georgia on October 10, 1947 to the parentage of the late Robert Green, Sr. and the late Emily Green. Paulette Boyd was the mother of  two daughters, Janice Beard and Marquetta Thomas and two sons, Robderick Boyd and the late Calvin Rauf (Meatee) Boyd . She raised her children with love and devotion in Macon, Georgia

She was a member of Revival Tabernacle Church. Paulette attended Bibb County Public School. She loved to cook and was known for her famous sweet potato pie. She was a loving and  caring person who cared for family members and friends. She was the life of many family events. She will forever be remembered for her signature dance moves.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parentage, Robert Green Sr. and late Emily Green; a loving father figure, Wiley Mayo; a brother, Robert Green, Jr.; a sister, Thedorisa Bond, and a son Calvin Rauf Boyd. (Meatee)

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Beard and Marquetta Thomas; a son, Robderick Boyd (Shirette) all of Macon Georgia; four sisters, Harriett Ogbodo of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Jeanette Green, Beverly Finney, and Lucille Meadows of Macon, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and  friends.
