Mr. Otis Bebee was born on May 11, 1949 in Jones County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Eugene Bebee and Fannie Lou Bebee Young. He departed his life on March 22, 2025 in Macon, Georgia.
Mr. Bebee was always known as a hard and dedicated worker. He worked for over 20 years at Macon Iron before his retirement. He was also known to be a master- craftsman, creating one-of-a-kind pieces by hand with wood. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching baseball and was an ardent fan of the Atlanta Braves. He had a calm and gentle spirit, always backed up by a beautiful and infectious smile. Last and most importantly, he was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death (by seven days) by his loving wife Mrs. Velma A. Bebee; parents Mr. Eugene Bebee and Fannie Lou Bebee Young; siblings: Robert Bebee,Eugene Bebee and Frank Bebee. He is survived by his daughter Ms. Marcia A. Bebee, Step-Children: Maureen (Michael), Andrew (Barbara) Rogers, Jr., and Wendy Rogers. Grandson: Shaughnessy [Shaquaris – (fiancé)] Harris, Step-grandchildren: Velma (Carl), Eric Rogers, Corey Rogers, Donovan, great-grandchildren: Deava Harris and Dailon Rogers, step-great-grandchildren: Jayden and Jacob. He is also survived by 2 brothers: Curtis Bebee and Henry Young, Jr., 3 sisters: Alice Green of Gray, GA, Alena Bebee of Houston County, GA, and Daisy Durham of Macon, GA, 4 sisters- in-law: Vester Mae Carzel, Elizabeth White, Jackquelyn Green, Barbara Caslin all of Lamar County, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.
