Omega Wilder was born April 23, 1953 to the late Cleonia and Joseph Wilder Sr. She attended Crawford County School System and graduated in 1971. At a young age, Omega accepted Christ into her life and became a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Roberta, GA.
Omega was employed at Oxford T-Shirt Factory in Reynolds, GA for 20 years. In 1991, she began working for Dr. Joe and Jan Johnson of Macon, GA, where she proudly worked until retiring in 2015. Omega dedicated her life serving others until her health began to decline. She was always willing to help anyone in need, whether it was baking them her delicious pound cake or offering them words of encouragement.
On Friday, June 6, 2025, Omega silently slipped away into the arms of the Lord. She was loved deeply by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleonia and Joseph Wilder Sr; brothers, Lawson and Joseph Wilder Jr., sister, Hattie Walker, and niece whom she helped rear, Francine Walker.
Omega leaves to cherish her memory, her only daughter: Bernice (Stacy) Flowers of Roberta, GA; two loving granddaughters, whom she reared as her own: Porscha Davis of Warner Robins, GA, and Jakia Flowers of Kathleen, GA; two great grandsons whom she absolutely adored: Kaiden and King Davis of Warner Robins, GA; her loving and devoted siblings: Ollie Wilder, Eddie Wilder, Darryl Wilder, and Garey Wilder, all of Detroit, MI. , Willie C. Wilder (Gloria) of Oak Park, MI., Carlean Godwin of Kathleen, GA., and Henry and Bernard Jones of Macon, GA; two bonus granddaughters, whom she loved as her own: Morgan (Logan) Faulks of Macon, GA and Fran (Blake) Webb of Quitman, GA; devoted cousins: Tommie (Leroy) Bentley, Emma Lee Harris, Bertha Hollingshed, Dodie McCrary, Robert Preston Jr., Morris Hollingshed, Agnes Hollingshed, Ronald Hollingshed, John Bentley, Donnell Mathews, Faith Danielly, Peggy Mills and Robert Hicks; special friends: Brenda Troutman, Diane Hicks-Colbert, Juanita Searcy, Gloria McAfee, Joyce Raines, Sebrina, Glenis, and Monique McCrary, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends whom she loved dearly.
