Nathaniel Pleas, 74, of Macon, Georgia, transitioned on November 20, 2025. Born on November 5, 1951, in Bibb County to Willie James Pleas and Sarah Ann Pleas, Nathaniel grew up with strong family values that would guide him throughout his life.
Nathaniel was admired for his unwavering dedication, spending ten years with Al Fencing Company before proudly establishing his own fencing business alongside his brother. Beyond his work, Nathaniel enjoyed watching Western shows and movies, sharing vibrant stories from his childhood, and making others laugh with his unforgettable sense of humor. His hobbies and lighthearted spirit filled countless days with joy, both for himself and those fortunate enough to share in them.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Pleas, and his parents, Willie James Pleas and Sarah Ann Pleas.
Nathaniel is survived by his brother, Eugene Pleas; his children, Tomeka (Jermaine) Salter, Nathaniel (Sharon) Tolbert, and Michael Tolbert; five stepdaughters; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Above all, Nathaniel was deeply loved—by his family, friends, and anyone who crossed his path.
