Mother Lillie Bell Brundage

Lille Bell Brookins Brundage was born in Sparta, Georgia on October 3, 1939 to the parentage of the late Mr. William Brookins, Sr. and Mrs. Ida Lee Wheeler Brookins. She attended the Hancock County Public School.

On December 3, 1959, she married the love of her life, Mr. Booker T. Brundage until death departed them.

She was a humble, loving, praying, singing and compassionate woman. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and auntie. She was the Sunday school superintendent with Church of God in Christ in Albany, New York. Upon relocating to Macon, Georgia she was a member of Grady Mission Baptist Church (Pastor Horace Johnson). She later in life became a member of Church of the Living God Full Gospel Ministry (Apostle Essie M. Williams) and Apostle James 8 Pastor Mamie Williams. She served faithfully as a church mother until her health began to fail. She loved to sing, bake biscuits, and read her bible. Her favorite word was "Oh Boy".

On Monday March 17,2025 the Lord decided to claim what was rightfully His. She transitioned to her heavenly home. "Well done good and faithful servant, you can take your rest now!"

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Booker T. Brundage; her son, Booker T. Brundage Jr.; her son-in-law, Kareem Mohammed; her siblings, Sallie Kate Brookins, Bertha Mae Brookins Spencer, Williams Brookins Jr., Johnnie Lee Brookins, Willie Frank Brookins, Sammie Lee Brookins, and Orlandus Brookins, and her brother-in-law, Bill Reynolds.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted loving caregiver, her grandson, Germaine (Stephanie Brookins); sister, Elizabeth Brookins Reynolds of Macon GA; brother, Robert Curtis Brookins of Macon GA; her children, Peggy Mohammed, Barbara Brundage and Dawn Brundage of Macon, Georgia, Linda Franz (Daniel B. Franz 1 of Warner Robins, Georgia, JamilRonnie Brundage)az-Zahir of Albany, New York, Jacqueline Brundage of Albany, New York, Mary Brundage of Albany New York; a host of 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
