Morris Collier Obituary

Morris “Donnie” Collier was born in Macon, Georgia to Pauline and Lawrence Collier on December 24, 1937, which was God's greatest gift we could ask for to enter into this world.

He attended school but left because  back then he had to go out and work to provide for his family.  Although, he said if he could he would’ve been a scientist and with the Mental Pioneer mind he had he could have.  Morris hit the road where he did construction in New York and as a singer in a group.  One day in his life he would change when the band traveled to McRae, Georgia, where he met the love of his life, Rozelle LaFaye Collier which was a perfect match made in heaven.  To this union they had three children, Rozelle LaFaye, Donnie Juarez and Brandon Collier.

Donnie spent his time in the 1960s to 1990s taking pictures downtown and as the manager in plumbing for Macon Homes where he retired and lived the remainder of his life as a stay-at-home-dad.  He was a mental pioneer to build what he did and a man full of unconditional love.  He was a phenomenal man and a man that could do no wrong in our eyes.  He LOVED talking about the aliens and he loved talking about God and the Bible.

Morris leaves behind three children, Rozelle LaFaye Collier, Donnie Juarez Collier and Brandon Collier; four grandchildren and his first grandson, Love Lawrence, Stefan Collier, Terrance Ulysses Beck and James T.  He was preceded in death by one granddaughter at birth.

He was an amazing and wonderful man that will be truly missed and loved but he will always live on in our hearts.
We thank you for everything, Granddaddy.
