On Saturday, November 30, 2024, God called Mary Glenn Hill (Nanny Pooh) home to rest. Mary Glenn Hill was born December 28, 1963, to the parentage of the late John and Leddie Hancock Sr. She received her formal education in Bibb County Public Schools. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Ronnie Charles Hill.
"Nanny Pooh" as she was so fondly called was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a heart of gold and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who call upon her services. She believed cleanliness was next to Godliness, so she thoroughly enjoyed cleaning. She was very outgoing and outspoken when given the opportunity.
Mary Glenn Hill was a New Fellowship Baptist Church member for many years.

She leaves to honor her memory, her loving son Anthony (Kamiesha) Hancock, 12 grandchildren: Deartis, Malachi, Myasia, Journey, Ashlyn, Alayjia, and Anthony Hancock, JR, also, Amir Hill and Anfrenee Lowe, Caziah Driskell, Phoenix Smith, and Bruce Davis, a host of great grandchildren, siblings MaeBell (Bubber) Lester, James Hancock Jr, Sallie Morgan, Martha (Bobby) Walker all of Athens, GA and Brenda (Mack) Brown, Linda Brown, John Hancock, Jr, and Rodney Hancock all of Macon, GA, several devoted nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
