In Loving Memory of Mary BELYNDA Jump
Affectionately known as Belynda, and to her inner circle, simply "BeBe," It is with both laughter and tears that we celebrate the unforgettable life of Belynda "BeBe", a force of nature who danced through life with music in her soul, and love in her heart.
With a laugh that could light up the darkest room, Mary BELYNDA Jump weaved her way into the hearts of everyone she met. A true party animal with a heart of gold, BeBe lived life out loud — unapologetically bold, endlessly loving, and always ready to turn any moment into an unforgettable memory.
She was the kind of woman who made you feel like family. Her spirit was magnetic, her humor infectious, and her love immeasurable. Whether she was throwing down in the kitchen, dancing to a favorite tune, or spoiling her grandbabies with affection and sparkle, BeBe made life feel magical.
BeBe's journey wasn't always easy. She faced trials, tribulations, and hardships that would have dimmed a lesser light. But not BeBe. She rose above every challenge with grace, grit, and a sparkle in her eye. Through it all, she never lost her love of life or the boundless love in her heart. Her strength was quiet but mighty, and her joy was a beacon for everyone blessed to know her.
Beneath her sass (and believe me, she had some of that too) was a heart of pure gold. She gave the best hugs, the fiercest loyalty, and the kind of love that made everyone feel like the most important person in the room. She remembered birthdays, showed up when it mattered, and always knew when you needed a laugh — or a shot of tequila.
She definitely deserved more than she ever received here on earth. Her kindness, loyalty, and radiant spirit should have been met with the world's finest offerings. But as heaven is just, then surely now she has everything she ever deserved — peace, joy, and a crown as dazzling as her soul.
BeBe leaves behind a legacy of joy, unforgettable memories, and a trail of glitter that may never be fully vacuumed out.
She is survived by her beloved son, Jody Jump Young, and her precious grandchildren: Josie Irene, Jaylee Michelle, and Jody "J.J." - each a shining reflection of her joy and fierce love.
Her sister "Cookie" Debra LaFay Cannon, niece Misty Merritt (Sean), and a constellation of great-nieces and nephews — Brittany Scarborough, Zack Scarborough (Amber), Winter, Hunter, Aubree, Brandy "Chianne" Scarborough, Wyatt, Gatlin, and Chance Merritt — carry forward her legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love. Her radiant spirit touched not only her family but a circle of friends who became family - each one now holding her memory close, a cherished piece of their hearts.
BeBe was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Nellie Irene and William Edward Jump Jr., her dear brother, William Gary Jump and her adored nephew "little Reynolds" Crenshaw.
Though they are reunited now, her absence leaves a huge void in the lives of those who treasured her.
A celebration of BeBe's life will be announced at a later date. When that time comes, please come dressed in color, preferably orange, bring your best stories, and be ready to laugh, cry, and dance — just the way she would've wanted.
In lieu of flowers, honor BeBe by living with flair, loving without limits, and never missing a chance to sparkle and be kind.
