Marquiz Hodges Obituary

Marquiz Hodges was born on June 9, 1983, to his loving mother, Deleen A. Chapman, and stepfather, Charlie. From an early age, Marquiz displayed a spirited personality and a heart that naturally drew people toward him. He had a unique way of making those around him feel comfortable and valued. Throughout his life, he built lasting relationships with family, friends, and peers who appreciated his authenticity, humor, and warm presence.

Marquiz was known as the “cool uncle” among his nieces and nephews. He shared many memorable moments with them, always bringing laughter and adventure into their lives. Whether it was joking around, telling stories, or guiding them through little adventures, he created memories they will cherish forever. His playful spirit and fun-loving nature made him someone the younger members of the family looked up to and loved spending time with.

To his family and friends, Marquiz was more than just a relative or companion—he was someone they could depend on. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply be there when someone needed support. His kindness and generosity never went unnoticed, and those closest to him often spoke of how thoughtful and caring he was. Marquiz believed in looking out for the people he loved and took pride in being someone others could rely on.

Among his peers, Marquiz was respected for his genuine character and easygoing personality. He had a way of connecting with people from all walks of life, making friends wherever he went. His sense of humor, honesty, and ability to make others feel welcomed left a lasting impression on many. Those who knew him admired his loyalty and the way he carried himself with quiet strength and confidence.

Above all else, Marquiz was deeply dedicated to his family. He loved spending time with them and valued the bonds they shared. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort into their lives.
