Mrs. Lois M. Andrews, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on September 19, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on April 11, 1942, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Nancy Braswell McCoy and Hosery McCoy Sr.
Lois was a proud graduate of Ballard Hudson High School in Macon, Georgia. She furthered her education at Atlanta Area Technical College, where she obtained her licenses as a Master Cosmetologist and Master Barber. She used her gifts not only as a career but also as a way to uplift others, making people feel beautiful both inside and out.
Lois was a faithful member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, under the leadership of Pastor Timothy Flemings Sr. She served diligently as an usher and on the hospitality committee. She lived a life of service to the Lord and to others, embodying her belief in love, respect, and unity.
She was well-known for her warm spirit, her love of baking, her joy of traveling, and the countless memories she created with her family. Her home and her heart were always open, reflecting her devotion to family and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Braswell McCoy and Hosery McCoy Sr:; her siblings, Lelar (Crap) Sherald, Louis McCoy Sr. (Pro), Hosery McCoy Jr, (Charlie), Tim McCoy St., Mary Evans, Annie Ruth Riley, and Willie Jean McCoy (Pig); and her great-granddaughter, Lacorreyal Gail (LaLa) and grandchildren, Royalty Aaron and King Aaron.
Lois leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert Andrews, her loving children; Mardwella Aaron (Marvin Aaron, Sharon Corbet (Lorraine Washington Corbett), Robette Andrews (Crystal), and her stepchildren. She was a proud grandmother to Shanita Ovens (Shaquille Ovens), Marlana Aaron, Elizabeth Sydney Shields and great-grandchildren; Shaquez Gail, Brandon Haywood Jr. and Xaniya Corbett. She is also survived by her brothers; Ronnie McCoy and Clarence McCoy, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory.
Lois will be remembered as a woman of strength, faith, ad compassion. Her legacy of love, unity, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
