Mr. Leroy Henry “Buster” Williams, Jr. was born in Macon, Georgia on December 24, 1944, to the late Mr. Leroy Henry “Birdhead” Williams, Sr. and the late Mrs. Carolyn Whisby Williams.
He was educated in Bibb County and was part of the Peter G. Appling High School Band.
Leroy was afforded many employment opportunities that included the Atlanta Airport from there he found his true calling as a cement Mason.
He was a member of Lizzieboro Missionary Baptist Church, where he served under the leadership of the late Reverend Moses Dumas and under the current leadership of Dr. Derek Dumas until his health failed.
He was called home by our creator early Sunday morning, August 24, 2025 at the age of eighty (80) years old.
Leroy leaves behind two daughters, Tammie Patterson and Carolyn Russell; four grandchildren, Emanuel Jackson, Brittany Russell, Donald Patterson II and Darian Patterson; thirteen great grandchildren; one surviving sister, Eva (William) Baxter; one niece, Lynette (Johnny) Malcolm and two nephews, Vincent (Lisa) Williams and Eric (Serena) Haynes; two aunts, Constance Graham and Margaret Ann Billue and a host of other relatives and friends.
