Mr. Kent Wilmore was born on July 22, 1962, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Acie Wilmore and Virginia Wilmore, Jr.
He received his formal education through the Twiggs County School System. Upon completion of his education, he obtained his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) from J.B. Hunt Trucking Company. Mr. Wilmore dedicated the majority of his professional life as a truck driver and was faithfully employed by Environmental Remedies in Macon, Georgia.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Mr. Wilmore peacefully transitioned from this life at Atrium Health Navicent Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He now rests in the presence of the Lord.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Tracey Copeland-Wilmore; his beloved children, Renita (Harold) Crafter, Chauncey Wilmore, Terrance Wilmore, Mykia Mitchell, Erica Booker, Alonzo Person, and Reginald (Chaunte) Person.
He is also survived by his devoted father-in-law, Mr. Clarence L. Copeland; one sister-in-law, Erica Copeland of Macon, Georgia; and brothers-in-law, Harry Cowell and Clarence L. Copeland, also of Macon, Georgia.
