Obituary
Kathrina Spivey Brown was born March 21, 1958 in Macon, Georgia to the parentage of the late Flucie Jackson and Willie Spivey.
Kathrina was lovingly and affectionately known as Kay. She attended Bibb County Public Schools and was employed with Macon Telegraph and Goodwill Nursing Home.
Kay had a passion to cook and serve others. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She lived a lively life until her health began to fail.
On Monday, April 3, 2023, Kay entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Mintz; siblings, Geneva Wright and Clifford Jackson and aunt, Annie Ruth Heard.
Kay leaves to cherish her memories a loving significant other, Rodney Kendrick; siblings, Eugene Jackson and Betty Jackson; bonus children, Kenyetta Kendrick and Taneshia Kendrick (Brandon) Ridley; grandson, Jeremy Howe-Mintz, Travion, Kirstin, Shanya and Cadence; great grandchildren, Ja’Kyla, Jodeci, Jeorgia, Jah’moni and Azion; aunt, Mammie Ruth McWilliams; uncles, Willie Heard and Reverend Billie (Annie) Heard; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
