Joseph Willis

Mr. Joseph Willis was born January 12, 1957 to the parentage of the late Mr. Jessie and Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas Willis of Macon, Georgia.

He attended Unionville Elementary and Southwest High School.  He was employed by Schwartz Roofing and Southern Railway where he retired after many years.  He was also a self-employed landscaper which he took pride in the skill.  One of his clients was Dr. Lokey and the two of them got along very well.  Joseph was loved  by family and friends, he was such a humble fellow, he got along very well with others.

Joseph loved helping others during his residency at the Dempsey Apartments.  You could find him bringing in groceries and helping in any way he could.

On Thursday, March 9, 2023, God gave Joseph wings to return to Him.

His memories will be forever cherished by his caring siblings, Jessie Willis, Jr., Charlie Willis, Henrietta Willis, Barbara Taylor and a devoted sister, Cassandra Willis and a son, Juwan Hollingshed.
