Johnny Hill, Jr. Obituary

Johnny Hill, Jr. was born April 24, 1945 in Macon, Georgia.  He was born to the late Johnny Hill, Sr. and Earnestine Hester Hill of Macon, Georgia.

In 1964 he graduated from Ballard Hudson High School.  He was drafted to join the United States Army in 1968.  He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze stars, Vietnam Medal with 1960 Device, Marksman (M-14 and M-16), Overseas Bar and two purple heart medals of honor.

Johnny worked for Walmart, Memorial Nursing Home, Logan Company, Cherokee Brickyard, Wilson Supply of Macon, Georgia and Fanoria Bearing Company in New Britain, Connecticut.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Johnny Hill, Sr. and Earnestine Hester Hill of Macon, Georgia and his sister, Carolyn Hill Jackson.

Johnny leaves to rejoice in his memory his wife, Annie Lois Richardson Hill of Byron, Georgia; his children, Waltina (Pastor Edward) Barnes of Waterbury, Connecticut, Calvin Hill of Lansing, Michigan, Johnette Hill, Jamilah Campbell and Tangela (Gregory) Cartwright of Macon, Georgia, Shareef Campbell, Jeffrey (Susan) Coleman of Byron, Georgia and Vanessa Coleman of Warner Robins, Georgia; his sister, Mary Juanita (Bobby) Colson, Sr. of Lizella, Georgia; brother-in-law, Reverend Ludie Jackson, Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia; twenty-two grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
