Johnny Daniels Obituary

Johnny L. Daniels (“Cheater”) was born January 4, 1952 in Macon, GA to the late Johnnie B. and Fannie Mae Daniels. He was the youngest child of this union.  He made his transition on January 4, 2024.

Johnny received his elementary education from L.H. Williams Elementary School and High School education from Ballard-Hudson High School (Class of 1970), both in Macon, GA. He attended
college at Bethune-Cookman College where he played football, the sport he loved dearly.

After college, he moved to Birmingham, AL and obtained employment at University of Alabama Health Services Foundation (UAB) where he worked in an Administrative capacity as Manager of Office Records for twenty-five years until his retirement.  

In 1979, he married Sheryl Boyd, the love of his life. They were married for forty-four years and to this union one daughter, Monica Fatima Daniels, was born.  

Preceding him in death was his brother, Hodges Glover, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory and to celebrate his life, his wife, Sheryl B. Daniels; daughter, Monica Fatima Daniels; one grandson 
Carson A. Daniels-Wray, all of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Peggy Womble and Lucille (Carl) Williams, both of Macon, GA; one brother, Larry B. (Jennifer) Daniels of Houston, TX; one uncle 
Grover Glover, of Macon, GA; sister-in-law, Arnitha Boyd of Ashburn, GA; God-sister, Faye Alexander,of Macon, GA; nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
