Johnnie (Whipple) Sanders

Johnnie (Whipple) Sanders was born on June 23, 1943, in McIntyre, Georgia, to his father, the late Dover Whipple and mother, the late Lucille Sims.

Johnnie was educated in Wilkinson County School System. Johnnie, begin a long and faithful career with Englehard; formally name Kaolin industrial. He eventually retired. In retirement, Johnnie found joy and peace in the outdoors. He loved fishing, cutting grass, and completed many home improvement projects, always keeping his hands busy and his mind at ease.

On Saturday, December 23, 2025, Johnnie departed this earthly life for his Heavenly home.

Above all else, Johnnie was a devoted family man who was deeply loved and respected. He leaves to cherish loving memory his wife, Virginia Sanders of 61 years; along with children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

Johnnie will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for family, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed.
