John Willie Williams was born August 1, 1955 to the late Henry Booze and Martha Williams.
John was employed by Elliott Machine Shop. John had a nickname for everyone he came in contact with. He loved to laugh and joke. His favorite saying was “It’s getting heavy.”
John was preceded in death by the late Joyce A.H. Williams and his siblings, Mary L. Stephens, Joe Booze, Mary Booze, Ken Booze and Jerome Booze.
John is survived by his children, Tyra Williams, Pierre Williams, John L. Williams, Indya Williams and Arianne Williams; thirteen grandchildren; siblings, Georgia Jolly, Ella Williams,Robert L. Williams, Sallie M. Williams, Debbie Williams, Aggie Glawson, Elaine Askew, Deloise Whisby, Larry Booze and Emanuel Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews; honorary special friend, Cheryle Floyd; honorary aunts, Jennie M. Stephens and Luella Redd; honorary nephews, Willie (Shaneta) Stephens and Vantavius Stephens.
