John Chambliss Obituary

John Allen Chambliss affectionately known as "Johnny" was born August 24, 1955 in Macon, GA to Eddie and Catherine Chambliss. He departed this life on March 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Eddie Chambliss, Jr.

John was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. He worked at various jobs and easily formed lasting friendships John was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. John's life was a testament to resilience and strength.

John found solace and joy in his hobbies. He loved to play softball and enjoyed his time representing Tom's Candy Company on the field. His natural talent for mechanics was evident in his passion for car repairs. Throughout his life journey. John touched the lives of many with his warm smile and kind heart. He will be remembered for the generosity and love he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them and if you knew him, you knew it.

John leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter: Tosha Nicole Chambliss-Richards (Leroy), his granddaughter, Tajalyn Thomas-Renfroe; one sister, Carolyn Chambliss Hill (Darrell), three brothe Robert Perkins (Kena), Michael Chambliss, and Steven Wayne Chambliss (Dollie); three aunts: Beatrice Montford, Tillie Harrison (William), and Estoria Moore; one uncle, Willie Lowe; a special niece, Carlissa LuShae Hill; along with other nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
