The sun rotated around the earth 62 times and before the sun rose on October 30, 2025, the Lord called roll and accounted for his new angel, Mr. John Wesley Bentley. The Lord said, well done good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:21, John felt his was at peace and took his hand and went to be greeted by his parents, sisters, and brother:
John was the beloved son of the late Mattie Jo and C.B. Bentley - born on November 25, 1962 in Reynolds, Georgia. During his young adulthood, he joined in fellowship with St. James Baptist Church and remained a faithful servant of the Lord.
John graduated from Crawford High School and went on to attend South Georgia Technical Col-lege. He was employed by Georgia Tools for many years. After years of working. John's love for helping people never ended. He was always there when you needed him, it was nothing he couldn't fix.
John leaves precious and loving memories to be forever cherished in the hearts and thoughts of those that loved him and those he clearly loved - including his sister, Jacqueolyn B. Silva (James) of Homestead, FL; two brothers, Cecil Bentley of Macon, Georgia and Martin Stanley of Roberta, Georgia; four nieces, Lashanda Thompson (Torrey) of Marietta, Georgia, Danielle Norwood (Danny) of Detroit, Michigan, Janae Silva of Homestead, Florida, and Latrell Davis of Macon, Geor-gia; three nephews, Leyon "P-Nut" Hollingshed of Marietta, Georgia, Jeremy Sanders of Miami, Florida, and Martin Stanley Bentley, Jr of Roberta, Georgia; a host of great nieces and nephews; sis-ter-in-law, Karen Sanders of McDonough, Georgia; a devoted cousin, Maxine Stubbs; friends, Melvin Willis, Raynard Shannon, Marion Lockett, The Staff of Bob's Store; and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
