With heavy hearts and profound love, we celebrate the life and legacy of Jerry Bernard Smith Jr., affectionately known as "CandyMan." Jerry was born on February 25, 1974, in Macon, Georgia, to the lateLillie Pearl Corbin and Jerry Smith Sr.  Jerry attended Central High School in Macon, Georgia. Following graduation, he entered the workforce, dedicating himself to a variety of occupations throughout his life.

Known throughout South Macon as the one and only "CandyMan," His presence could brighten any room, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Jerry peacefully entered eternal rest. While our hearts grieve his passing, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Lillie Pearl Corbin; his brother, Rodney Corbin; and his brother-in-law, Lorenza Poole.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving children, Jameshia Valentine, Jedarius Roberson, and Victoria Haywood; his devoted father, Jerry Smith Sr.; his beloved sister, Renee "Lil Ma" Poole; his brother, Randy (Karen) Corbin; his nieces, Tahaeisa Bonds and Felicia Corbin, along with his other cherished nieces; his nephews, Terran "Man" Corbin and Talib Corbin, along with his other beloved nephews; his dear cousin, Seletha Doston; and a host of aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were forever enriched by his love and friendship.

Although Jerry's earthly journey has ended, the impact of his life will never fade, His love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him.
