Jeremy Yumaine Ashley, Jr. entered the world Sunday, April 1, 2007 at 12:57 AM weighing 6lbs 7oz to the parentage of Veronica Murray and Jeremy Ashley.
His captivating influence began at Head Start and continued to flourish as he progressed through Sonny Carter Elementary, Howard Middle School, Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama and lastly Southwest High School in Macon, Georgia. During his tenure at Southwest, he joyously played varsity basketball and his impact and influence continued to grow.
Though his life was cut short he still touched numerous lives with his goofy and loyal spirit. Jeremy enjoyed playing basketball, talking/texting on the phone, laughing, joking and just keeping the atmosphere upbeat. Jeremy was handsome, multi-talented and full of life.
He had dreams of attending a D1 college and making it to the league so he could make life easier for his family.
From the time he entered the world he was a joy to be around. Rather he was making you laugh by joking or playing around, helping, motivating, or encouraging you.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his parents, Veronica Atkins (Anthony) and Jeremy Ashley, Sr.; grandparents, Vanessa Mathis, Larry Tard (Vanessa), Omega Murray, Trapager (Sharon) Stevens and Vonda (Billy) King; uncles and aunts, Marions Simmons, Omega Murray, Jr., Eric (Monique) Robinson, Arkecca, Avis, Brandon & Timothy Ashley, Emmanuel & Trapanger Stephens, Jr., Armond Denson, Sr., Shermonte Thomas, Demetrius, Ieshia, Tempestt & Satchel Lundy; siblings, Dezareé (Christian) Davis, Gabrielle Atkins, Jayceon Cooper, Jeremiah and Jeremih Ashley.
