Janice Yvonne Stubbs

Janice Yvonne Stubbs, age 68, passed away after a brief illness on September 12, 2022. She is survived by her three children, who made up the entirety of her world, Jarica Stubbs, Corey Stubbs and Devontae Sandifer. She was preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Wilhemnia Wimbush.
  
Janice was a 1972 graduate of Southwest High School. After high school she worked at Allied Chemical, Bibb Mills, Krystal and later retired from Kroger. She was a member of New Pilgrim Baptist Church.
  
Besides her children, Janice is survived by her sister, Wanda Glover, grandchildren JaRodney Stubbs, Kenyatta Jones, Jr., Javon Jones, Zynia McCoy, Zionna Albritton, Jakhi Sandifer, Kainan Sandifer and 4 great-grandkids. She is also survived by lifetime friends Valerie Goldston, Jeanette Leonard, Janice Ross and Corliss Dixon, devoted cousin Sandra Smith, nieces Chiquita Glover-Perkins and Jasmine Hampton, uncle Jack Davis and aunt Gloria Davis. Additional survivors include several cousins, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
