James Cystrunk was born on January 24, 1965 to the late Freddie Sr. and Mary L. Cystrunk in Macon, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Cynthia Wilcoxsin, Louella Cystrunk, Debroah Cystrunk; his brothers: Marvin Cystrunk, Freddie Cystrunk, Jr. and Lamar Cystrunk.
He attended Bibb County Schools and played football for Central High School and he later received his GED. James was employed by Astro Pools. He built houses from the ground up. He he was also a jack of all trades from electricity and wiring to many more. He was great with his hands and he loved gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church where he was a Deacon of the church.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his pride and joy, his daughter, LaCrystal Cystrunk, his son, Jarvis Cobb, LaNard (a son he raised as his own); grandkids: Christopher Maxwell, III, Christrevious Cystrunk, ChrisJarrious Maxwell, Christionna Maxwell; sister: Mary Ann (W.B.) Mims; brothers: Sam Cystrunk, Walter Cystrunk, Aunt Fannie Mae Rouse; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
