James H. Battle

James H. Battle was born September 21, 1959, in Crawford County to the parentage of Henry Battle and Mercie D. Brook Battle.

He attended the Bibb County School system in Macon, Georgia.  He was employed with the Bibb County Public Schools, Stone Mason in Bibb County.

J.B., as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, enjoyed going to different churches and fellowship with all kinds of people.

He departed this earthly life on September 8, 2025 to be with the Lord.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mercie D. Brooks Battle and Henry Battle.

J.B. leaves to cherish his precious memories to his brother, Larry Battle and Casey Battle; one sister, Del F. Battle all of Macon, Georgia; one sister-in-law of Cincinnati, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, great, great, great nieces and great, great, great nephews and friends that will miss him dearly.
