Irene Walker was born into time on October 23, 1933 to the late Lewis and Julia Mae Smith. She attended Bibb County School District Rutland High School. She departed her life on March 02, 2026.
Irene was a house wife and enjoyed making clothes, cooking, and reading her Bible.
She was a member of Bibb Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the founding pastor of Joseph Anderson Holston.
Mrs. Walker leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Betty Spikes, Larry Smith, Veronica Walker, Sammy Walker, Michael Walker, Sr., Teresa Walker, Quinton Walker, and one daughter-in-Law, Cynthia Dillard Walker. One sister, Linda Roberson, and one uncle, Lewis Smith, 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was deeply loved and faithfully cared for by her devoted daughter, Betty Spikes, who lovingly attended to her in her home for many Years until her passing. She also leaves some devoted family, her grandchildren, Frankie, Stephanie, Sonya, Raquel and her niece Kimberly.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, S.T. Walker, her son, Randy Walker, her grandchildren Alonzo Smith, Trevorius Thomas, and Tiffany Dupree, 5 brothers brothers, Jessie, Lewis, Mike, Frank Lee, 3 sisters, Nancy Smith, Henrietta Wynes, and Johnny Mae Gunn.
