lola "Ruth" Moore, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, peacefully entered eternal rest on February 20, 2026. She was born December 12, 1953 (in Eatonton Ga) to the late Willie Mae Griffin (Williams) and Scott Williams.
From an early age, Ruth demonstrated determination and intelligence. She attended Appling High School where she excelled academically and graduated as the Valedictorian of her class. She later married Richard Moore and from their union they had two sons. Ruth became a Licensed Practical Nurse and faithtully served at Laurel Baye Healthcare, caring for patients with compassion and dignity. Nursing was not simply a job to her - it was a calling.
She was a devoted member of David Temple Church and attended faithtully until her health no longer allowed her to do so.
Ruth was known for her gentle spirit and giving heart.
Her tamily especially remembers the way she affectionately called the people she loved "My Girl," a simple phrase that carried
warmth, comfort, and belonging. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her sons Reno Moore (Macon, GA) and Tony Moore (Macon GA): 15 grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren: her brothers Scott (Sarah) Williams of (Macon, GAJand Robert Williams: and her sister Angelina Hayles of (Knoxville, Tennessee), along with many relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
