Mr. Harvey Taylor, Jr. was born January 6, 1947 in Macon, Georgia. He was born to the late Mr. Harvey Taylor, Sr. and the late Mrs. Alberta Taylor.
Harvey was educated in the Bibb County Public School system.
He worked as a Brick Mason most of his life. He was also employed at Kroger for many years, where he retired from in 2020. Harvey loved being with his family and having a good time. He will be missed by so many people who loved him dearly.
On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, our adored Harvey Taylor, Jr. answered the call we all will have to answer one day. God lovingly said, “My child you fought a good fight. Come unto me and receive your well-deserved rest.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Harvey Taylor, Sr. and Mrs. Alberta Taylor; his son, Eddie L. Jackson; one grandson, EyQuan Cobb; his brother, Robert Taylor and his sister, Joann (Preston) Lewis.
Harvey leaves behind to cherish his precious memories his beloved wife, Ethel Taylor; 15 devoted children, Janeze Jackson, James Jackson, Cassandra (Jay) East, Lecrisha Jackson, Harvey (Juanita) Jackson, Sharon (Johnny) Gibson, Detrone Jackson, Seletha Doston, Eyvonnie Jackson, Veronica Doston, Daniealle (Lecomia) Bash, Willie Marshall, Jr., Tenierrow Taylor, Erick (Keshon) Barrow, Jr. and Keisha Atkins; 76 grandchildren; and more than 64 great-grandchildren; 3 loving and devoted sisters, Debra Taylor, Brenda Sue Taylor and Angela Clyde; 2 loving and devoted brothers, Kenneth (Debra) Taylor and James (Bobbie Ruth) Taylor; 4 loving and devoted sisters-in-law, Lessie (Jack) Crawford, Annie Corbin, Doris Payne and Ella (Larry) Davis; 3 loving and devoted brothers-in-law, Robert (Margaret) Corbin, Eddie (Belinda) Corbin and Bobby Corbin; one loving and devoted friend, Mr. William Turner and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
