Harriett was born on June 8, 1957, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Curtis Lamar Seats and Lucinda Whitehead Seats. She was the beloved sister of the late Willie Lamar Seats. A woman of many talents and a heart full of love, Harriett dedicated her life to the service of others. She was a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant, providing care and comfort to countless individuals of all ages throughout her career.
Harriett leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Randy Askew of Lizella, GA; her daughters Folayan Morehead of Durham, NC; Rashida Askew of McDonough, GA; Afiya Askew and Vania Askew of Albany, GA; and Charity Askew, also of McDonough, GA. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Michael, Aubrey, Jaden, Lauryn, Kensey, and Yarah, a host of friends, extended family, and associates whose lives she touched deeply.
Harriett’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, strength, and resilience. She faced her battle with pancreatic cancer with unwavering courage, surrounded by the love and support of those who knew her best. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Harriett’s legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
