Gwendolyn "Gwen" Harvey
Ms. Gwendolyn "Gwen" Harvey was born on November 25, 1964, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Mary Shoats Harvey. Gwen was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Arthur Parker, Jr., and her sister, Vivian L. Harvey. She entered her eternal resting place on January 27, 2026.
She received her education in the Jones County Public School System and was a proud 1983 graduate of Jones County High School. Gwen devoted more than 15 years of her professional life to the hotel hospitality industry, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, until her health began to decline.
Gwen was baptized at an early age and faithfully served at Joycliff United Methodist Church during her youth. In her later years, she continued to her walk of faith as a member of Ross Temple in Macon, Georgia.
Gwen leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving children, Kwantae D. Harvey and Marquis Q. Harvey; five grandchildren, Nazir Harvey, Kamilah Harvey, A'Lunni Harvey, Kwantae Harvey, Jr., and Zy'rontae Henton; her siblings, Patricia A. Harvey, Willie Harvey, Jr., Richard L. Harvey, and Samantha Harvey; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends Gwendolyn "Gwen" Harvey will be remembered for her strength, faith, and the love she shared with her family and all who knew her.
