Glendaa Elaine Pless was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Curtis James and late Mrs. Florence Pless James on August 20, 1958 in Macon Ga.
She attended Southwest High School and was a proud Patriot graduate of 1976. After graduation, Glenda entered into the workforce serving over 20 years at Crowne Plaza of Macon.
Glenda also was the owner and operator of First Class Commercial Cleaning Service. After a brief illness, she decided to dissolve her business and gained employment with Skyview Elementary School through the Bibb County School System. She continued working until she was medically retired in July 2024.
Glenda accepted God as her Lord and Savior as a young girl at Laurel Grove Baptist Church of Twiggs County. Later in life she rededicated her life to Christ, was baptized and became a member of Beulahland Bible Church. She lived her life pleasing to God and everyone she came in contact with. Glenda was a wonderful daughter, a prominent sister, an exceptional mother, and a great friend
Glenda leaves to cherish her memories; daughter Tomeka (Kemal) Jones and Christopher (Rochelle) Pless. Three sisters, Velma James, Janet James and Eunice James. Four brothers, Roland (Gladys) Pless, Wesley James, Gregory James and Vince (Shaketa) James. Four sisters-in-love Lucy Poole, Ruby Green, Sara Butts and Selenthia Stafford Grandchildren-Antavius Jones, A'Khori Jones, Crishelle Pless, Crisette Pless, Chrishaun Pless, Chrishard Pless. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will all miss her dearly.
