Obituary

Georgie Mae Winfrey was born October 20, 1940 to the late Charlie and Eloise Stuckey, the 4th of 9 children, in Wilkinson County, Georgia.  She joined Mt. Cilla Springs Baptist Church at an early age.  Shortly thereafter, she moved to New York City, where she completed her education; becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She moved back to Georgia in the Mid1990s, where she served tirelessly until her health failed.  She dedicated her life to servicing others and was loved and adored by those she cared for.  She was awarded several pins, awards, and certificates during her employment.

She was preceded in death by: (other than her parents) husband David; son Timmy; and brothers Charlie Sr., Robert James Edward, and Donald Eugene Stuckey.  She leaves to cherish her memories:  two brothers Joe (Daisy) Stuckey of Dublin, Georgia; and Emmett Stuckey of Munich, Germany, two sisters: Mary Ann Davis and Elnora Carswell of Macon, Georgia, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
