George Faulk, Jr. known to many as “Right Foot, Raybun and Booger”, was born on January 12, 1940 to the parentage of the late George Faulk, Sr. and Lillie Ivey-Faulk in Bleckley, County, Georgia.
George was an outdoors man who loved hunting, fishing, bird watching and occasionally you find him feeding the birds any type of food he got his hands on. He was employed with Knox River Asphalt Company until his health failed.
He joined the New Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age but later after moving to Bibb County, he connected with Unionville Baptist Church where attended faithfully until confinement at the Cherry Blossom Health and Rehabilitation Facility.
On Thursday, April 27, 2023, George departed this earthly life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Bell Williams-Faulk; sister, Rosa F. Mosely; four brothers, Willie Lee Faulk, Willie Bee Faulk, Marshall Faulk and Wimberly Faulk; one grandson, Marico Williams; four brothers-in-law, Reverend Eddie Moseley, Leroy Jackson, Charlie Williams, Sr. and George Harris; three sisters-in-law, Emma Lee Faulk, Gertrude Williams and Jimmie Lee Williams.
George was survived by two daughters, Rosa (Frank) Faulks and Lillie (Tony) Faulks; one son, George Faulk III; two step-sons, Willie (Melissa) Williams and Bennie (Wanda) Williams;one step-daughter, Rose Mary Weaver; four brothers, Johnny Bee Faulk, Clarence (Betty) Faulk, Charlie (Angela ) Faulk and Jerome Mattox; three sisters, Betty Foster, Mary (Tommie) Hightower and Carrie Jackson; four sisters-in-law, Doris Faulk of Syracuse, New York, Laura Harris, Annie (Alton) Farrar, Jimmy Cornelius and Silas Williams, Jr.; twelve grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
