Gary Dennis Obituary
Gary Dennis was born on July 23, 1955 in Macon, Georgia to the late Reather (Willie B.) Horton and Willie B. Lanier. As a student in the Bibb County Public Schools, Gary graduated from Southwest High School in 1973. His enlistment in the Air Force took place in 1975. His service to his country led to his retirement as a Veteran. It was at Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church that he developed a love for Christ under the leadership of the late Pastor Christopher Tard. He became an active member of Living Waters Full Gospel Ministry in 1994. As a deacon, usher, feeding the homeless, driving the church van and Sunday School Superintendent, whatever he could to serving God's people, he would do. Family stories were one of Gary's greatest passions in life. He was a proud father and grandfather. Gary was a kind-hearted individual who always went out of his way to help others and he always did it with a smile. On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the Lord called one of his angels home. He was surrounded by his loved ones who loved and cherished him as God put an end to his pain and suffering (2 Timothy 4:6-7). , God praised him with the words "My faithful servant, Job well done." This allowed Gary to enter his house of many mansions.
He leaves to cherish his memories his high school sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Vivian Dennis; four sons, Antria (Lashara) Dean, Gamerro, Coleton and Kyan Dennis; two daughters, Peyton Dennis and a niece, Charrissa Corbin, whom he raised as his daughter; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose (Eadie) King and Pamela (Charlie) Booze; loving in-laws, Julious Corbin, Doris (Jack) Ceasor, Glenda Corbin of Cleveland, Oh and Eloise Corbin of Macon Ga and Laverne Miller of Roberta, Ga. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
