Everette Dewayne Simmons

Everette Simmons was born on February 21, 1973, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Jenny Watson. He attended Bibb County Public Schools and was known by many as "E40."

Everette was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Earnestine Simmons; his grandfather, Moses Green; his mother, Jenny Watson and his brother, Javares Simmons, Sr.

"E40", as most knew him, was a man who deeply loved his family and genuinely cared for others. He was selfless, always willing to sacrifice, lend a helping hand and support those in need.

Everette faithfully served as a caregiver for both his grandmother, who raised him, and his mother during their transitions. His kindness, loyalty, and generous spirit touched many lives and will be remembered by all who knew him.

Everette leaves to cherish his memory his devoted brother, Kerry Walker; six nieces, and nephews, Javares Simmons, Jr., Devares Simmons, Rayquez Simmons, Eric Simmons, Justice Gibson and Destiny Simmons; his godson, Elijah Simmons; his adopted brother, Ralphell Smith and loyal friends, Jarvis "Coon" Gilmore, Antonio Webb, David Harris, Cedric Newton, Bruce Gibson, Shawn Thomas "Big Love", Brandon Booker, Toont, TY and Bruce Harris; a devoted family and long friend, Roosevelt Whitehead; his uncle, Lorenzo (Gwendolyn) Simmons; his aunt, Raquel (Maurice) Kirkland and a host of cousins, extended relatives and many sorrowing friends who will forever cherish the love, laughter, and memories he shared.
